2016 has just ended. This year, as every, was full of unexpected situations, successes and failures. For someone it was best time in life. For someone else worst. Human made something magical about new year. We always hope that it will be better or the same as last. Even though if we don't believe in this, we try to start new part of our life. I wish you all will do everything, what you want. That it will be one of best years and bad accidents will go somewhere else. I wish you and your families will be in good health and even though if not that it will be going to be better.
Make new resolutions for next 12 months, find the aim and do what is possible to make your dreams come true. Never give up!
It's already 27th December and Christmas time ended. But as Charles Dickens said "I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year." I love holiday even though it's cold outside and my family have arguments nearly every year. Happily 3 and 2 days ago we decided to play boarding and card games and it really works. We all sit and think about next steps. It was such a success, especially that in my closest family is only one man now. So if you have problems with spending time with your nearest and dearest then bring some game or cards! But I hope that you don't have to.
Today I'll show you what I got from Santa Claus. I don't want to boast or anything like that. But I think that maybe you will find here something to buy your friends, sisters, cousins as a present. If you have anything from your gifts that you like the most then I'll be glad if you share with me too!
Firstly Yankee Candle candles (how strange it sounds?). I got one in medium size. However my mum got one too and when she lighted it she got runny nose. She is probably hypersensitive or allergic to this smell so she gave it to me. First of them is Cappuccino Truffle which is intensive, chocolate smell and second one in large size is Lemon Lavender. I don't really like lavender smell but in this fragrance you smell lemon too. So I like it.
Next Creme Brulee set (gas jet + 4 ceramic forms)with 6 ceramic forms. I'm so happy with that because I've been cooking for 7 years now and I've never used gas jet.
To creme brulee set I got 3 cooking books. 2 from Masterchef Poland and onewith baking recipes made by winner of last Masterchef.
I love Rowling's books too so Santa Claus brought me 'Fantastic Beasts and where to find them'. I haven't read it yet. But I've seen film and it was amazing!
To make me reading more I got next 3 books. One business book written in polish, which title is something like 'Psychology of selling' by Mateusz Grzesiak. Sorry if it doesn't sound good but it doesn't have English version so I don't know how to translate it. Second one 'How to read fashion?' by Fiona Ffoulkes and last 'Big Magic' by Elizabeth Gilbert. It was popular some time ago and I heard many positive opinions about it.
Going to cosmetics. I found body cream and fragrance mist in the same smell Dark Kiss. It's so deep and sweet. I like this kind of perfume smell and I fell in love with it.
Next Inglot beautician with nail polish in skin tone colour (number 332), EOS acai balsam and two Hakuro brushes. One to liquid and mineral cosmetics (H54) and second one to eye-shadows (H78). They are nice in touch and they blend well (I've tried them already).
Last one - well known Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. It has gorgeous shades. Probably as all of Too Faced palettes. It smell delicious too, which I think is a great bonus. So you can smell it if you want to.
And that's all. Hope you liked it! Write down if you have favourite presents and we'll see very soon!
Sometimes life is hard - everything is going in bad way, you lost something, don't have time for anything or all of that in one. Then you probably think that you won't do any more, you just give up and it's the worst decision you can possibly make.
Duties, events, extra classes, friends meetings, generally life will not wait for you. If you stop living (like you only exist) then you will never take it back (of course don't exaggerate - you can start new friendships, hobbies in every time but there are no reason to put it off).
I know that we are only humans. We can have problems but being in bad mood, mourning, depression kill us from inside. It's not easy to go back to normal after terrible accidents but being in it is more painful. Every bad emotion effects on our health. They ruin our bodies and you don't even know about it whilst it's happening.
I had some ordeal because of which I lost two years. I just couldn't recover and still have problems with it. But thinking too much about it didn't helped me. That, for this moment, worst time in my life ruined my health. I will probably never be the same person that I was.
But it changed me in good way either. Now in busy day I don't think that I have to do so much, I think that I don't have to do something or that I might like some of these actions. Now I am really positive person. It's obvious I sometimes complain. It's needed.
But people are going to be more grumpy and by that they are less happy, they don't feel successful, they become ill or commit suicide.
So when you feel bad, have busy time, ordeals then just think that it will be better. You can deal with everything and complaining, staying in bad mood, not trying to go out of it won't help you.
When Halloween (I unfortunately don't celebrate Thanksgiving) ends and December starts I usually make new playlist. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. But not in my school.
My teachers love me much. So I have exam on Thursday! Cause why not?
As you can see at the beginning I have a lot to do. It's nearly Christmas and I have a to think about learning. I was also working on blog overview. I think that technical things like templates and background pictures are my favourite aspects about blogging. I really enjoy finding out how to change html even if I have to look for answer for many hours. Whatever this week I made gingerbread stars. Actually I'd never baked taste gingerbread before those. They were delicious! I'm not joking when I say that you have to try them out! I took some to school and went back with nothing. My friends loved them!
For about 50 gingerbread stars you'll need: 375 g plain flour 1 tsp bicarbonate soda 120 g cold butter 4 tbs honey vanilla extract 1 egg 175 g brown sugar gingerbread seasoning Mix flour and butter together until it'll look as breadcrumbs.Add rest of ingredients and knead. Preheat oven to 180-190C. Roll out your dough and cut out stars or anything you want. Put on tray with baking paper and bake about 11 minutes. Leave for cool and decorate (perfect icing = glass of caster sugar + tsp of water). Enjoy!
Hello! I wasn't in here for a long time and I'm so sorry. This nearly month was busy for me but I hope that I will have more time from now. Beginning with post topic, I looked through OYSHO winter collection and decided to write a post with my favourites. If you don't know this shop - It's clothes shop (mainly with pyjamas). It was made by Spanish Inditex in 2001. Hope you'll find something interesting!
